For more details, visit the SCPP website at http://leg.wa.gov/SCPP . Editor’s Note: Item 5 deals with a bill to expand the eligibility for service on a Disability Board. It almost passed last session but got caught up in the rush to end the session. The UAAL Funding deals with legislation that is designed to eliminate the Unfunded Actuarial Accrued Liability in TRS 1 and PERS 1. It is of concern to LEOFF 1 because past efforts to raid the LEOFF 1 fund were at least partially aimed at dealing with this UAAL. It deserves watching. |
