The projected CPI, (COLA) cost of living adjustment for the LEOFF 1 Retirement System is due in April. The COLA is based on your retirement date.
For retirement dates between:
April 2, 2017 – March 31,2018 0.00%
January 1, 2017 – April 1, 2017 3.32%
April 2, 2016 – Dec 31, 2016 5.68%
Prior to April 2, 2016 3.32%
Please note that DRS has not yet certified these COLA’s.
Also, if you receive a separate check under 41.20 or 41.18, these numbers may not increase your total pension amount until the relevant labor contracts are settled.
