Once again we were notified by the Retired Firefighters of Washington that HB 2719 was introduced in the House to amend RCW 41.26 the LEOFF I Retirement System. The amendment would only require cities with a population of 30,000 to establish a LEOFF I Disability Board. As Dick explained this bill is now subject to any other amendments that will meet the scope and object of the HB 2719. This is but another example of the effective monitoring the legislative process by the RFFOW. They pass the information onto LEOFF I Net to inform you. Thank you for the heads up Dick.
